When we made the transition, guides to vegan living didn’t exist, and so it was through a process of trial and error that we discovered which ingredients were vegan and which weren’t, which vegan foods were delicious and which weren’t, and how to substitute vegan for non-vegan ingredients when cooking and baking.

This can be used when the recipe calls for egg whites or egg yolks as well. It works in both sweet and savory recipes. Powdered egg replacer requires that it be blended with water at a specific ratio prior to use.
